Is there free play for Ice Fishing?

Why live tables have no demo mode
A slot can run a demo because the whole game executes client side against a paytable. Nothing is at stake and nothing needs a server.
A live game show is the opposite. Every Ice Fishing round runs in a studio against a certified RNG draw shared by every player at the table simultaneously. There is no single-player copy to hand out, and there never will be.
This applies to the whole category — Crazy Time, Funky Time, Monopoly Live and the rest. None of them has an official demo, which is why any page advertising one is showing you something else. A clearly labelled simulator is a reasonable thing to publish; calling it the official demo is not.
Three things that work instead
Sit at the table without betting. Most operators allow it. Ten minutes gives you the round pace, the length of the betting window and a realistic sense of how rarely the ice opens — the thing players consistently overestimate.
Read the frequencies. The chances page tells you how likely each result is over any number of rounds. The figure worth absorbing is that Huge Reds fails to appear at all in roughly one hour out of five.
