Bets and routes
- All Bonuses
- A shortcut placing one chip on each of the three fish routes. Fewer clicks, not a discount: three separate sub-96% bets.
- Leaf 1 / Leaf 2
- The two base bets at 23 segments each. Identical in maths, never both winning, and the best published return at 97.10%.
- Segment
- One of the 53 divisions on the wheel. Forty-six leaf, seven fish.
Returns and cost
- Blended return
- The stake-weighted average across a spread of bets. A Leaf base with a small Lil’ Blues chip blends to about 96.77%.
- House edge
- One hundred per cent minus the return — the share of turnover the operator keeps long term. 2.90% on Leaf, 4.83% on Huge Reds.
- RTP
- Return to player: the share of total stakes a bet gives back over a very long run. Ice Fishing publishes one figure per bet, not one per game.
- Turnover
- Everything staked in a session, as opposed to what was deposited. House edge applies to turnover, which is why round speed matters.
- Volatility
- How far results scatter from the average. Leaf is low, fish routes are high, and two bets can share a return while behaving nothing alike.
Wheel mechanics
- Leaf boost
- A 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x mark placed on one leaf segment before the spin. Pays that multiple of the chip, and keeps the chip.
- Live game show
- A casino format streamed from a studio with a presenter, where the outcome is drawn by a certified RNG rather than by the presenter.
- Round cap
- The most a single round can pay regardless of multiple — 500,000 in table currency here.
- Wheel mark
- A 2x to 10x value placed on a fish segment before the spin. It scales every catch inside the bonus round, not the chip.
Definition questions
What does RTP actually mean?
The share of total stakes a bet returns over a very long run. Ice Fishing publishes one figure per bet rather than one for the game.
Leaf boost or wheel mark — what is the difference?
A leaf boost multiplies your chip. A wheel mark multiplies every fish inside a bonus round. Both explained.
Why does turnover matter more than my deposit?
Because the edge applies to everything staked, not to what you put in. A 50 balance recycled twenty times is 1,000 across the table.
