Welcome offers and Ice Fishing
Most welcome packages are written for slots and weight live game shows at a tenth. Reading the weighting table takes a minute and changes which offer is worth taking.

The headline number and the useful number are rarely the same offer.
Game weighting, and what it costs
Every bonus carries a weighting table, and live game shows sit near the bottom of it. At 10% weighting, a 35x requirement on a 100 bonus means 35,000 of turnover through Ice Fishing rather than 3,500. At 0% the bonus simply cannot be cleared here.
None of this is hidden — it is in the terms. It is just that the terms are one click away and the headline is on the banner.
| Offer type | Typical live weighting | Turnover to clear 100 at 35x | Fits? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots welcome package | 10% | 35,000 | Rarely |
| Mixed casino bonus | 20% | 17,500 | Sometimes |
| Live casino bonus | 100% | 3,500 | Usually |
| Live cashback, no wagering | n/a | None | Yes |
Weightings differ by operator. The number that matters is in the bonus terms.
Which one to take
A 25 no-wagering live cashback beats a 500 package weighted at 10% for an Ice Fishing player, and it is not a close call. The headline is smaller and there is nothing to clear.
Live reloads come next: recurring, normally weighted at 100% on live tables, and small enough that the terms stay readable. A slots-first welcome package is worth taking only if you also intend to play slots with it.
One more thing to check before accepting anything: some operators exclude live game shows from bonus play altogether, which means a bonus balance cannot be used at the Ice Fishing table even at 0% weighting.
